Intelligent self-leaders are the key factor in determining the success of any organisation. All leadership starts with leading one-self. Self-leadership should be perceived as the core of all leadership.
Intelligent Self-Leadership focuses on this core of leadership: How could we all learn to direct and lead ourselves better? We all have our own organisation, Self Ltd, in which we are the managers. We need to invest in our total wellness, which means looking after our efficiency, renewal, and well-being. Total wellness comprises physical, mental, social, spiritual and professional condition. Pentti Sydänmaanlakka (PhD) has a wide experience in personnel management, having worked for Nixdorf, Siemens, Kone and Nokia among others. He has been the managing director of Pertec Consulting Oy since 2002, and also works as a consultant, researcher, author and entrepreneur. Sydänmaanlakka's books Intelligent Organisation and Intelligent Leadership have both been nominated finalists of the Pro Oeconomia contest (2002 and 2004). Intelligent self-leadership is the third component of the highly successful trilogy.
